Kirby Puckett

My purpose for writing today is not to antagonize an athlete, general manager, or coach, not even to devise a ludacris plot for the Raiders 06 pick. The reason I write today is to mourn one of Baseball's greatest players. He was a 10 time All-Star (in 12 Seasons) and a 2-Time World Series Champion. He made one of the most memorable plays in the history of the game. And much like Roberto Clemente, his great Career ended early and the afterlife took him to soon. From the emphatic smile to the great bat... We miss you Kirby.
